Project Coordinator and Scheduler

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to fill a project-based position at the forefront of various sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in defining and maintaining project schedules, resource optimization, and cross-functional coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Schedule Management: Utilize MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent tools to define, maintain, and monitor the overall project schedule against deliverables and key milestones.
  2. Progress Monitoring: Continuously review actual progress versus forecasted schedule, explaining, justifying, or providing context for any variances based on inputs from team members and stakeholders.
  3. Critical Path Analysis: Regularly review critical path, resource loading, deployment schedules, dependencies, lags, buffers, risks, contingencies, constraints, and milestones.
  4. Schedule Impact Assessments: Conduct assessments and updates in coordination with stakeholders, evaluating the impact of proposed changes or variations and considering controlled and uncontrolled circumstances.
  5. Reporting and Analysis: Provide schedule analysis, trend analysis, and metrics-based findings to stakeholders on a regular basis as part of progress monitoring and reporting requirements.
  6. Meeting Facilitation: Assist in setting up and facilitating project-related meetings as necessary.
  7. Technical Support: Assist with technical, logistical, and administrative concerns relating to the project as required.
  8. Collaboration: Work closely with the Project Team to fulfill project requirements, specifications, terms, and conditions in a timely and resource-efficient manner.
  9. Compliance and Quality: Adhere to internal and external audit requirements, compliance with regulatory and quality standards, and other project-related commitments.
Requirements
  • A graduate degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
  • Relevant experience in project scheduling, coordination, and related functions in a project-based setting, particularly in infrastructure-related projects.
  • Cross-functional coordination and group/team dynamics experience is preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
  • Familiarity and experience handling project management and scheduling tools, specifically Primavera, are required.
  • Proven ability to work with internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to leverage and mobilize resources to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Self-starter with a results-oriented mindset, able to work with minimal supervision, has attention to detail, and is a team player.
