Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Scheduler Coordinator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless care coordination between clients, caregivers, and office staff.

This critical role requires excellent organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage real-time caregiver-client scheduling to ensure optimal matches based on skill, location, and availability.
  • Maintain up-to-date client/caregiver information in scheduling software.
  • Coordinate with care managers and back-office teams to resolve incidents and follow up on staffing needs.
  • Monitor scheduling adjustments and proactively communicate with caregivers and clients.
  • Generate reports on staffing coverage, fulfillment rates, and productivity metrics.

Immediate Tasks (Week 1):

  • Complete training on internal scheduling tools and SOPs.
  • Shadow outgoing schedulers or care managers to understand our process.
  • Start observing live scheduling adjustments and client/caregiver communication patterns.
  • Begin drafting and confirming schedules under supervision.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in scheduling, care coordination, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with scheduling software and tools.
