Job Overview

The SharePoint Developer plays a vital role in configuring, customising, and maintaining SharePoint Online to support collaboration, data management, and digital transformation initiatives across the organisation.

Main Responsibilities
  • Configure and customise SharePoint Online sites, subsites, lists, libraries, and metadata.
  • Develop page layouts, web parts, and workflows to support business processes.
  • Set up secure and user-friendly document libraries, team sites, and communication sites.
  • Implement and manage user permissions, access levels, and content governance.
  • Integrate Power Automate and Power Apps to automate workflows and streamline operations.
  • Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and configure solutions.
  • Support AI-enabled document retrieval using tools like Copilot for FAQs and product manuals.
  • Provide technical support, training, and guidance to SharePoint users.
  • Maintain governance standards, ensuring consistent structure and usability.
  • Align SharePoint development with company-wide digital goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in IT or Computer Science preferred.
  • 5 years of proven experience configuring and managing SharePoint Online.
  • Strong knowledge of site structure, lists, libraries, and permissions.
  • Experience with setting up SharePoint applications.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Power Automate, Power Apps, Teams).
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, or JavaScript for customisation.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail with focus on usability and governance.
