Technical Drafter for Architecture and Engineering Projects

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient professional to support architectural and engineering projects through precise drafting and 3D modeling. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and modifying technical drawings, layout plans, and BIM models using industry-standard software.

This role requires strong collaboration with design teams, engineers, and project managers to ensure accurate documentation and model coordination. Our team works on a wide range of projects, including architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing 2D drawings and 3D BIM models for various project types
  • Interpreting sketches, specifications, and design intent to produce accurate technical documentation
  • Coodinating with project teams to ensure model accuracy and compliance with standards
  • Updating and maintaining drawing sets and BIM files throughout the project lifecycle
  • Assisting in clash detection, quantity take-offs, and visualization tasks
  • Ensuring adherence to company drafting standards and BIM protocols

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in drafting or BIM modeling is required.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other BIM software is essential. Familiarity with construction documentation, layout planning, and elevation detailing is also required. Understanding of building codes, construction methods, and materials is necessary.

Strong attention to detail, excellent communication and documentation skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines are essential. Collaborative mindset with problem-solving abilities is also required.

Preferred qualifications include experience in remote drafting or international projects, knowledge of rendering tools, and familiarity with project management platforms.
