Geomatics Engineer Job Opportunity">

We are seeking a highly skilled Geomatics Engineer to join our team on the Tamakoshi-V Hydroelectric Project in Nepal. The successful candidate will lead and coordinate all survey-related activities, ensuring high-accuracy spatial data collection, analysis, mapping, and reporting.

This is a challenging role that demands both technical expertise and field leadership. The Geomatics Engineer will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing detailed topographic and hydrographic surveys using modern geospatial instruments.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Geomatics Engineering or a related discipline and at least 1-2 years of relevant experience in large-scale infrastructure or EPC hydropower projects. Strong command of survey instruments and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS/QGIS, and surveying-related data processing software are essential.

  • Survey Planning and Execution: Plan, manage, and execute detailed topographic and hydrographic surveys using modern geospatial instruments.">
  • Data Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze and interpret survey data, generate digital terrain models (DTM), and align with project design and construction drawings.">
  • Survey Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain survey documentation, daily field logs, as-built drawings, and data archives for QA/QC and audit compliance.">
  • Crew Supervision: Supervise survey crews and ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental protocols.">
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with planning, billing, and engineering teams for IPC, BOQ validation, and construction tracking.">
