Job Title: Spatial Data Specialist

Work Location: Onsite – SM North Edsa, Tower 1

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST

Job Overview

Responsibilities
  • Create accurate basemaps for various projects.
  • Develop plan and profile drawings from OSP Design as required by permitting jurisdictions.
  • Import and export GIS data efficiently.
  • Extract relevant data from DWGs.
  • Conduct thorough research on Right of Way requirements.
  • Add custom annotations to imported data.
  • Audit quality of CAD drawings produced by others.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in permitting drafting (utility background acceptable).
  • Proven expertise in using Autodesk Connector for ARCGIS.
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in AutoCAD MAP3D 2024 or newer.
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with writing custom LISP routines is preferred.
  • Proficiency in ARCGIS PRO or QGIS is preferred.
