Accounting Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks, including financial statement preparation, accounts payable and receivable processing, and general ledger maintenance. Additionally, the candidate will assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare accurate and complete financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable Processing: Process invoices, payments, and credit memos in a timely and efficient manner.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and policies.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances, and making recommendations for improvements.
Requirements:
  • At Least 3+ Years of Accounting Experience: In a similar role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills: Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Xero Software Skills: Intermediate to advanced level of proficiency.
  • Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex financial data and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders.
