Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Product Development Specialist to lead our product development process from concept to commercialization.

This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and experience in project management. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of Western consumer markets and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop products from ideation to launch, managing project timelines and stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research to identify and evaluate new product ideas with a customer-centric approach.
  • Research and select suppliers based on requirements such as specifications, costs, MOQ, lead time, order and sample evaluation.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, quality, and specification standards are met.
  • Manage marketing-related deliverables and collaborate with operations to ensure accurate costs and MOQs.
  • Review performance metrics and track success, sharing learnings to feed improvements into the development cycle.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in product development, ideally within the baby, kids or toys categories.
  • 1-2 years of project management experience.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of Western consumer markets.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience dealing with suppliers in and out of China.
