Medical Support Specialist

MediCard is looking for dynamic, service-oriented individuals to provide quality care and support to patients. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will assist doctors and nurses with taking vital signs, inspecting consultation rooms, and maintaining inventory of supplies.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  1. Provide assistance and service to patients
  2. Assist with taking vital signs and initial history taking
  3. Inspect consultation rooms daily for essential supplies
  4. Oversee cleanliness and maintain linens in consultation rooms
  5. Ensure sufficient inventory of supplies and monitor stock levels
  6. Coordinate with other departments for endorsement and verification as needed
  7. Approve diagnostic requests based on established guidelines prior to utilization
  8. Maintain and update medical records of patients
  9. Prepare and submit timely reports and doctor's procedure fees
  10. Perform other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education: Graduate of BS Nursing or related medical allied courses
  • Experience: Preferably with 6 months healthcare experience if not a BS Nursing graduate
  • Skills: Good verbal and written communication, initiative, organization, and service-oriented attitude
