Job Summary

The role of a Communications Infrastructure Specialist involves the design, installation, and maintenance of local communications networks to ensure operational readiness and system reliability.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and configuration of local communications networks across various sites.
  • Integrate communication components with surveillance systems, including radar, AIS, and EO/IR platforms.
  • Collaborate with ICT, OT, and cybersecurity teams to ensure secure, stable, and efficient communication networks.
  • Provide training and technical guidance on network operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in telecommunications, electronics, or a related field.
  • Over 5 years of experience in designing, installing, and maintaining Local Communication Networks (LCNs).
  • Familiarity with maritime and coastal surveillance communications infrastructure, including knowledge of existing systems, networks, and technologies used for vessel monitoring, radar, AIS, and related communication platforms.
Skills
  • HF/VHF/UHF radio system configuration, operation, and maintenance for maritime and coastal surveillance applications.
  • Technical support, system diagnostics, and solution recommendation for optimizing communication network performance.
