Virtual Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Virtual Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure group, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing virtualized environments.

This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to drive standardization, scalability, and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for planning and executing VM migrations, administering Linux-based systems, and managing hypervisor platforms.

To succeed in this role, you should have strong hands-on experience with Linux administration, proven expertise with hypervisors such as Proxmox VE and VMware vSphere/ESXi, and proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Perl, and Python.

In addition to technical skills, you should possess excellent troubleshooting skills, ability to work flexible hours, and strong communication and documentation skills.

The ideal candidate will have a track record of successful VM migrations in enterprise environments and knowledge of change management practices.

Required Skills:
  • Linux administration (Ubuntu, Debian, RHEL, or similar)
  • Hypervisors: Proxmox VE and VMware vSphere/ESXi
  • Scripting languages: Bash, Perl, Python
  • Infrastructure automation: Puppet, Ansible
