Learning Specialist

The Learning Specialist is responsible for implementing effective educational protocols while overseeing and supporting a team of coaches. This role involves both clinical responsibilities and supervisory duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-on-one and group sessions to support clients in achieving their goals.
- Monitor client progress, collect data, and update session notes to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Prepare materials for sessions, including face-to-face and online content, to ensure engaging and informative experiences.
- Review client files, goals, and progress to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted interventions.
- Conduct assessments and submit reports within a timely manner to stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates to parents and guardians through video/photo updates to maintain open communication.
- Maintain a clean and organized session environment to promote a positive learning experience.
- Oversee reports prepared by coaches to ensure quality and consistency.
- Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss progress, share best practices, and address challenges.
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry trends and research.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Special Education, Neuroscience, or a related field.
- At least 2-5 years of work experience in a similar field, with a strong focus on education and coaching.
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills to mentor and guide a team of coaches.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and stakeholders.
- Experience working in schools, rehabilitation centers, or clinics, preferably.
- Proficiency in training and developing team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
