About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior Platform Engineer to join our remote workforce in a company revolutionizing the way credit risk is managed. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing scalable Kubernetes clusters, automating infrastructure provisioning, and ensuring high availability and security.

Responsibilities
  • Kubernetes Administration: Design and deploy scalable, multi-node Kubernetes clusters on-premises, AWS EKS, or Azure AKS.
  • Infrastructure Automation: Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.
  • CICD Pipeline Development: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and other relevant tools.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure seamless operation.
  • Security and Resilience: Ensure infrastructure is secure, resilient, and highly available, supporting auto-scaling where applicable.
  • Collaboration and Support: Collaborate closely with software engineering teams to enable fast and reliable deployment cycles and work with IT and Support teams to troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues.
Qualifications
  • Education: BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MSc degree is a plus).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role.
  • Certifications: Deep expertise in Kubernetes administration (CKA or similar certifications are a plus).
  • Technical Skills: Strong experience with CI/CD tools (especially GitHub Actions), Helm charts, monitoring and observability solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana), scripting (Bash, Python), and Linux system administration.
Preferred/Additional Skills
  • Cloud Experience: Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms, especially AWS and Azure.
  • MLOps Exposure: Exposure to MLOps workflows and large language model (LLM) deployment.
  • Kubernetes Provisioning: Experience provisioning Kubernetes clusters on bare metal or virtual machines (e.g., using kubeadm, Cluster API, or similar tools).
