Cloud Infrastructure Developer

This is a pivotal role within our DevOps team where you will play a crucial part in designing, implementing and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure.

  • You will design and implement infrastructure tools and automation using Python, Bash, Terraform or Nix to enhance the scalability, reliability and performance of platforms.
  • Your responsibilities will also include building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to support multiple development teams.
  • You will monitor system performance and availability, providing analysis and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • It is essential to practice sustainable incident response and promote blameless postmortems.
  • You will develop and uphold service-level objectives (SLOs), service-level indicators (SLIs) and error budgets for our services.
  • Participating in on-call rotations, responding to and mitigating service interruptions and technical challenges is also a key responsibility.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering or Platform Engineering.
  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, Terraform is necessary.
  • Production-grade Docker and Kubernetes experience is also required.
  • You must have experience scaling MySQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, NewRelic is essential.
  • Solid troubleshooting and performance tuning capabilities are also required.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills are necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with development teams, operations and other stakeholders are also required.
  • The ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments is essential.
