Software Platform Engineering Leader

About the Role

As a senior engineering leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers to develop and maintain the Ubuntu platform. This is an exciting opportunity to join a global remote company that is pioneering open source software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of engineers to design, develop, and deploy the Ubuntu platform.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a senior engineer or engineering manager in the Linux ecosystem.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • A strong understanding of computer systems, architecture, and operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience working with DevOps tools and practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
