Customer Service Representative

We are seeking an organized and enthusiastic self-starter who enjoys working in a collaborative environment. You are adept at cultivating productive relationships with distributors and can become the go-to person for their metal-cutting tool needs.

This role requires multitasking, meeting deadlines, and being cooperative, responsible, and relationship-oriented. A strong performance is rewarded, and opportunities for growth exist.

A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent manufacturing industry experience with 3-5 years of customer service experience is required. Product knowledge and industry experience with metal cutting tools are a plus but not necessary.

You are highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite and experienced with ERP systems, with the ability to multitask. Experience with SAP is also beneficial. Strong oral and written communication skills in English are essential.

This team player is comfortable working in a global team environment and interacting with stakeholders of all levels across the globe.

The Role Includes:
  • Providing high-quality and efficient customer service to distributors by responding to phone or email requests.
  • Processing and maintaining all standard and special orders.
  • Quoting established pricing and modified tools.
  • Providing basic technical support.
  • Recommending products for customer applications.
  • Consistently communicating with internal sales personnel and the Customer Service Manager regarding any customer-sensitive issues.
  • Maintaining departmental processes in accordance with other affected facilities and departments.
Candidate Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent manufacturing industry experience with 3-5 years of customer service experience.
  2. Product knowledge and industry experience with metal cutting tools (plus).
  3. High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ERP systems.
  4. Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
  5. Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
