Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented XMPie Template Developer to join our team at Wimmer Solutions.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality, variable data print (VDP) and cross-media marketing templates using XMPie software based on specifications from our ticketing system.

Responsibilities include developing templates for print, email, web, and mobile channels, implementing complex personalization rules, conditional logic, and dynamic content blocks.

Additionally, the successful candidate will configure ADOR (Automatic Dynamic Output Rules) for multi-channel campaigns, set up data mappings between templates and customer databases or data sources.

Key responsibilities also include processing incoming tickets, interpreting technical requirements, mockups, and brand guidelines, configuring variable elements including text, images, barcodes, QR codes, and charts.

Finally, the job requires creating and maintaining reusable asset libraries and template components, ensuring proper color management and print specifications for production-ready files.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficiency in XMPie software suite (uDirect, uCreate, uProduce, Circle)
  • Strong understanding of VDP concepts and workflows
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Understanding of database concepts and data file formats (CSV, XML, JSON)
  • Familiarity with SQL queries and data manipulation
  • 2+ years of experience creating XMPie templates or similar VDP solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to work with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, or similar)
