Project Officer Role Overview

The primary objective of this position is to oversee projects within the Corporate Services Group and ensure they are progressed in accordance with their committed scope, timeline, and objectives.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain soft copies of project documents in a secure database.
  • Review project charters for completeness and accuracy.
  • Manage project performance through the Project Management Office site (i-Manage).
  • Ensure projects align with the Group's strategic directions, budget, and timelines.
  • IDentify and communicate risks to leaders and the Chief Admin Officer.
  • Coordinate monthly business reviews with project leaders and the CAO to assess progress and resolve issues.
  • Provide support to project leaders in addressing project challenges.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
  • Establish a liaison between the Chief Administrative Officer and various project stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and alignment across departments.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and executive summaries on project status, risks, and accomplishments for internal review and presentation to senior leadership.
  • Maintain stakeholder engagement by facilitating regular project check-ins and feedback.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • A graduate degree in Human Resource Management or Behavioural Science is required.
  • At least two years of work experience in human resources is necessary.
  • Familiarity with group projects, planning, organizing, and knowledge of project funding is essential.
Essential Expertise:
  • Mid-senior level expertise in project management, business development, and administration is crucial.
Desirable Industry Experience:
  • Experience in Banking and Human Resources Services is beneficial.
