Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire accounting cycle ensuring timely and accurate financial statement preparation in compliance with US GAAP standards.
  • Conduct monthly and annual closing processes including journal entries general ledger maintenance and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Administer accounts payable and receivable ensuring efficient processing payment of invoices and collection of revenue.
  • Prepare and file tax returns both federal and state ensuring compliance with all tax regulations and deadlines.
  • Develop and monitor internal controls and policies to ensure financial data integrity and security.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits providing necessary documentation and explanations for financial practices.
  • Participate in budget preparation and financial forecasting providing insights and analysis for strategic decision-making.
  • Implement and optimize accounting software and systems to improve financial reporting and operational efficiency.
  • Provide financial analysis and reports to management highlighting key trends variances and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting for US companies.
  • Proficiency in financial accounting software with a strong preference for experience in QuickBooks.
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in the US and experience with financial statement preparation.
  • Fully fluent in English.
