Job Title: Financial Expert

This role is pivotal in managing and optimizing our organization's financial operations. Key responsibilities include preparing and analyzing financial statements, developing budgets, and creating comprehensive financial reports.

Key Skills & Qualifications:
  • Financial Analysis:
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
    • Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate budgets and forecasts, provide variance analysis and recommendations for corrective actions.
    • Financial Reports and Analysis: Create, automate and improve comprehensive financial reports across functions to support strategic decision-making.
    • Recommendations: Deliver scheduled updates and strategic recommendations based on financial records and analytical reports to ensure organizational financial hygiene, maximize profitability, and meet business objectives.
  • Accounting Operations:
    • General Ledger Management: Oversee daily accounting functions including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
    • Transaction Processing: Manage accounts payable and receivable ensuring accuracy and timely processing of transactions.
    • Compliance & Auditing: Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals to ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
  • Collaboration & Support:
    • Remote Team Coordination: Work closely with remote teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of financial tasks.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with other departments to provide financial insights and support business initiatives.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Systems & Tools: Utilize and enhance accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets for efficient data analysis and reporting.
    • Workflow Optimization: Identify document and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy efficiency and compliance in financial operations.
