Relational database development is an essential part of our team's work. We are seeking a skilled professional to design and evolve data models and database architecture, write performant and maintainable SQL code, and contribute to refactoring and optimization of existing DB structures and processes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and evolving relational data models and database architecture
  • Writing performant, maintainable SQL code to power business logic and data flows
  • Contributing to refactoring and optimization of existing DB structures and processes
  • Collaborating closely with BI, backend, and product teams to shape how our applications work
  • Implementing automated tests and CI/CD pipelines for database development
  • Helping design solutions that extend beyond traditional RDBMS boundaries

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should have:

  • 4+ years of experience in relational database development (PostgreSQL preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/pgSQL
  • Experience with version control (Git) and modern dev workflows
  • Good understanding of database performance and storage optimization
  • Working knowledge of Linux environment
  • Bonus points for scripting skills (Bash, Python)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD is a plus)
  • Experience with Docker and microservices is a strong plus
  • Fluent communication in English (written & spoken)
