Job Title: Digital Marketing Strategist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled digital marketing professional to develop and execute effective online marketing strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of search engine algorithms, keyword strategy, and ranking factors. They will also have hands-on expertise with digital marketing tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and Screaming Frog.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing effective online marketing strategies tailored for local audiences.
  • Executing on-page and off-page optimization, including internal linking and content structuring.
  • Leading link-building campaigns and outreach efforts to improve domain authority.
  • Writing copy for ads, updating negative keywords lists, conducting experimentation and A/B tests, maintaining records of all UTM tags used, and assisting with landing pages tweaks to improve optimisation.
  • Producing weekly search and online marketing reports including insights, measurements, keyword research, and search trends.
  • Planning and running our digital marketing and organic search marketing initiatives. Conducting keyword research and planning, coming up with a plan comprising longer and shorter tail keywords to target, based on pillars such as generic and branded keywords, to improve their SERP organic rankings.
  • Conducting on-site and off-site SEO optimization, such as website audits, tagging of images metadata, updating the sitemap, link building, disavowing bad links, and more.
  • Helping to manage and maintain our search and web-related assets. Configuring integrations, measurements, attributions, conversions, and dashboards. Using GA4 and UTM codes for tracking and attribution.
  • Using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs to monitor performance and provide actionable insights.
  • Staying updated on algorithm changes and industry trends to keep strategies effective.
  • Reporting on digital marketing KPIs to leadership, making data-driven recommendations for improvements.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of proven experience in digital marketing. They will also have strong analytical skills, excellent written and spoken English communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Digital marketing certification (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads)
  • Proven track record of success in digital marketing (e.g., SEO, PPC, social media)
