Marketing Strategist Role

The Marketing Strategist is responsible for executing a comprehensive marketing plan, incorporating strategies in marketing, PR, and digital mediums. This role entails creating and implementing initiatives to enhance brand awareness and positioning, leveraging various social media channels, joint promotions, and co-branding opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Budget Optimization
    • Ensure all expenditures are high-impact, cost-effective, and aligned with marketing strategies.
  • Marketing Plan Development
    • Collaborate with the Brand Manager to create innovative, creative, and disruptive 360-degree marketing plans.
    • Implement the marketing calendar and PR initiatives following the campaign brief drafted with and approved by the Brand Manager.
    • Guarantee on-time creation of creative assets and project implementation that need to be cascaded to support teams - VM, Digital, and E-commerce.
    • Collaborate with the Brand Manager on crafting PR briefs and executing plans in a timely manner.
    • Coordinate with external partners (Agencies, Media, KOLs, Make-up Artists, etc.) on contracts for PR/Marketing/joint promotion partnerships.
    • Monthly PR monitoring and computation of value and return on investment.
  • Digital Execution
    • Oversee the execution of online campaigns as well as prepare post-mortem reports of key campaigns.
    • Collaborate with media agencies for the execution of media plans across digital platforms.
    • Ensure partner agencies are aligned and executing within brand guidelines.
    • Collaborate with internal and external teams in developing digital assets for all applicable media platforms.
    • Responsible for cascading brand direction, guidance, and evaluating achievement of digital goals.
    • Synchronize digital calendars and ensure timely implementation of initiatives.
  • E-commerce Management
    • Collaborate with E-commerce enablers in developing and maintaining brand stores.
    • Work with agency partners to optimize media spend and ensure agreed performance KPIs are achieved in partnership with the Brand Manager.
    • Collaborate with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Lazada, Shopee) to ensure optimal visibility and maximum productivity of official brand stores.

    • Collaborate with the E-commerce Team to guarantee ecommerce business target achievements.
    • Maximize calendar efficiency by creating high-impact and cost-effective ways to participate in site-wide activities and explore thematic partnership opportunities to boost visibility.
    • Ensure optimized Share of Shelf across all e-tailers.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications, preferably in Business or Marketing-related fields.
  • At least 3 years of work experience, preferably in PR, Marketing & Product Management. Experience in premium or luxury brands is an advantage.
  • Experience managing a team will be valued.
  • A proactive, hands-on disposition with the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong numerical and PC skills/proficient in MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and risk-taking abilities.
  • Organized with good time management skills.
  • Equipped with outstanding analytical skills and capable of responding to data from consumer research and results.
