About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team at Unloop Accounting. As a Remote Accounting Expert, you will work directly with our clients to provide exceptional accounting services and help scale our technology-driven bookkeeping company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle day-to-day accounting tasks for e-commerce clients in QBO and Xero.
  • Categorize transactions, compute COGS, generate profitability reports, KPIs, run payroll, and manage AP.
  • Use technology to automate services and ensure seamless data flow from Amazon, Shopify, and other sales channels to QBO or Xero.
  • Communicate effectively with clients through messaging and deliver high-quality deliverables on time.
  • Manage client relationships and expectations while documenting procedures in ClickUp and identifying opportunities to streamline accounting processes.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of full-cycle accounting experience, including transaction categorization, departmental bookkeeping, and financial statement preparation.
  • Proven experience managing a book of clients and communicating effectively through messaging.
  • Extensive experience with either QBO or Xero, with a solid understanding of inventory and COGS accounting.
  • Excellent computer skills and the ability to automate tasks using web-based software.
  • A driven personality with a passion for collaboration, teamwork, and creative freedom.
