Responsibilities
  • Recruitment:
    • The HR Supervisor keeps track of recruitment metrics on fill-up rate, turnaround time to hire, cost per hire, and other talent acquisition metrics.
    • This involves posting jobs in several online web platforms and finding alternative methods to advertise available jobs.
    • Communication with relevant department heads on job and personnel requirements is essential.
    • Preliminary interviews of applicants are conducted, and recommendations and score sheets are presented to department heads.
  • Payroll / Compensation and Benefits:
    • The HR Supervisor oversees compensation and management initiatives to ensure salaries and benefits comply with prevailing labor laws.
    • This includes guiding the section and tracking compliance on payout schedules.
    • A review of statutory and company-initiated benefits is also part of this role.
    • Regular goal-setting, assessment, and evaluation of employees with their relevant department managers are overseen by the HR Supervisor.
    • Payroll Master – audits and monitors timekeeping and leave benefits; prepares payroll generated by payroll software.
  • Labour Management:
    • On-boarding and orientation of direct employees are coordinated by the HR Supervisor.
    • Ensuring that all employees' concerns are properly handled and resolved in a timely manner is crucial.
    • The HR Supervisor oversees the observance and compliance of Company policies and rules; resolves any disciplinary concerns with employees.
    • Coordination with 3rd party HR service provider/s and ensuring that their responsibilities are fully and promptly carried out is necessary.
    • Assisting and supervising manning and deployment of agency personnel or third-party providers and suppliers are part of this role.
    • Conducting site visits and business trips across the Philippines is also required.
  • Government Compliance:
    • The HR Supervisor ensures that the Company is compliant with all relevant government labor laws and regulations.
    • Facilitating in handling employee concerns in compliance with DOLE standards is crucial.
    • Processing of government-mandated benefits (submission and/or approval of loan application, validation of SSS sickness & maternity benefit, posting of government contributions and payments) is part of this role.
    • Checking accuracy of employment contracts and 201 files is essential.
  • Administration:
    • Checking and auditing timesheets of under-agency personnel are tasks assigned to the HR Supervisor.
    • Checking and auditing manpower billing of agency personnel are also required.
    • Identifying issues with HRIS system with staff and supplier, along with basic debugging, are part of this role.
