Financial Operations Specialist Role

This role involves providing financial operations support to the organization.

The incumbent will be responsible for process intercompany invoices in a timely and accurate manner, resolving any issues that arise. They will also review and clear aged intercompany AR items to ensure accuracy.

In addition, they will agree intercompany AR balances with counterparties for month-end close. Furthermore, they will process intercompany netting payments and allocate payments/receipts on a monthly basis.

They will analyze goods received but not invoiced (GRNI) on a monthly basis. The incumbent will also participate in process improvement projects and initiatives to drive efficiency.

Another key responsibility is to support resolution of intercompany out-of-balances and requests from external and internal auditors.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of two years of experience in operational accounting or an equivalent role is required.
  • A high level of accuracy is necessary in performing all aspects of the role.
  • Prior experience in a large-scale organization is beneficial.
  • Ability to work well under time constraints and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and English language is mandatory.
