Job Title:

Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review complex financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and tax returns.
  • Provide direct client support and compliance assistance.
  • Lead junior and intermediate accountants by setting workflow expectations and providing ongoing training.
  • Effectively manage multiple priorities to ensure consistent deadline adherence.
  • Offer advisory services and collaborate with managers on client communication tasks.

The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise in taxation, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to supervise team members. A confident communicator with experience liaising directly with clients is also essential.

Requirements:
  • At least 5 years' experience in Australian public practice accounting.
  • Strong technical knowledge of tax laws and regulations, as well as effective problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record of supervising and training team members.
  • Adept at communicating complex information effectively to clients.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines.
