Job Overview

The Account Manager for offline payments plays a vital role in enhancing and growing our offline merchant partnerships.

This position focuses on revitalizing existing relationships and driving key account performance. The ideal candidate will craft and execute strategies to boost volume, ensure merchant satisfaction, and cultivate strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop targeted strategies to grow existing offline merchants through QR adoption and engagement.
  • Revitalize existing partnerships by renegotiating terms while ensuring profitability.
  • Manage high-value merchants, promoting us as a preferred payment solution for offline transactions.
  • Build and maintain robust after-sales management, including inquiries, disputes, and settlement variances.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to design and implement campaigns that boost offline merchant performance.
  • Oversee system integrations and successful project rollouts for the Payment-to-Merchant (P2M) business.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and campaigns related to QR PH.
  • Provide market insights from merchant perspectives, including understanding products, sellers, markets, and competitor dynamics.
  • Coordinate with internal partners to execute merchant programs.
  • Perform other similar and related duties as required or directed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree graduate. A background in Business Administration or relevant fields is beneficial.
  • At least three years of work experience in sales, acquisition, business development, and/or account management.
  • Strong understanding of the digital payments landscape. Experience in start-ups, fintech, or payments is advantageous.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and networking skills.
  • Effective communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
  • Comfortable working with numbers.
  • Agile, able to work swiftly and adapt quickly to changes.
  • Proficient in MS Office / Google suites.
