About the Job

Our company is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, organized and has excellent accounting skills.

This role involves managing day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accurate records are maintained and preparing financial reports and statements.

Responsibilities
  1. Record and maintain accurate financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
  2. Reconcile bank statements and ensure all accounts are balanced.
  3. Prepare and maintain financial reports and statements.
  4. Monitor expenses, track budgets and ensure financial accuracy.
  5. Manage invoices, payments and vendor records.
  6. Assist with preparing documentation for tax filings and audits.
  7. Collaborate with management to provide insights on financial performance.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accounting Clerk or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in bookkeeping software and Microsoft Excel.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in bookkeeping within the retail, fashion or apparel industry.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
