Accounting Professional - Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Professional to join our team as a Financial Operations Specialist. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial operations.

  • Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation and analysis of journal entries.
  • Lead the end-to-end AR process, including invoicing, cash application, collections, and AR aging management.
  • Perform monthly recon of accounts receivable by matching invoices amounts to cash collected.
  • Drive process improvements in the accounting department, enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure cohesive workflows.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • 2+ years of US company accounting experience.
  • Strong proficiency in US GAAP, with direct experience applying the standards to billing, revenue recognition, and month-end and year-end close procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills for resolving billing discrepancies and collaborating with other departments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in US company accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and its applications in financial reporting.
