Job Summary

This role is a comprehensive finance and administrative position designed for an experienced accounting professional who can manage the full spectrum of bookkeeping, financial operations and ensure accurate financial data capture, reconciliation and reporting to support business decision-making.

  • Reconcile general ledgers and financial transactions.
  • Maintain and update supplier invoices ensuring they match statements and are correct in Xero.
  • Perform regular account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and rectify errors.
  • Follow up with suppliers for outstanding accounts and ensure timely payment.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement streamlined procedures.
  • Support other clerical business functions.
  • Support the company's invoicing process.
  • Collections and accounts receivable as required.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
  • Qualifications in Accounting, Finance or Business (Diploma or higher) preferred.
  • Minimum 3+ years' bookkeeping experience.
  • Excellent command of English language, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Xero accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
  • Flexible and adaptable to work priorities.
  • Familiarity with Accelor advantageous but not essential.
