Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage general ledger and sub-ledgers.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, footnotes, and partner capital statements.
  • Prepare and review limited partner and general partner allocations.
  • Review capital activity, including capital calls, distributions, rebalances, and transfers.
  • Prepare and review fee calculations, including management fees, admin fees, waterfall clawback, and carried interest calculations.
  • Manage client deliverables, relationships, and meetings.
  • Interact with senior management and provide technical accounting/industry knowledge to clients.
  • Lead client service plans, including annual budget and new client setup.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Financial Statement, Tax, and Investor Relations groups.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, or ACCA).
  • Minimum 8+ years' experience in accounting for the financial services sector, particularly Private Equity, Asset Management, or Fund Administration.
  • Strong knowledge of waterfall structures, modeling, and calculations.
  • Leadership skills with experience managing staff for 3+ years.
  • Project management skills with attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
