Overview of the Position

The Knowledge Manager role is a strategic leadership position that oversees the IT knowledge management ecosystem, leveraging ITIL v4 and KCS v6 methodologies. This requires deep hands-on experience in Systems Administration and broader IT Support/infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Manage the Knowledge Management Strategy: Align with ITIL v4 and KCS v6 principles to drive business value through knowledge sharing.
  • Process Ownership: Ensure adherence to governance and standards for knowledge management.
  • Knowledge Article Lifecycle Management: Oversee acquisition, creation, storage, organization, distribution, and utilization.

This role demands exceptional technical acumen, linguistic proficiency, and effective communication of complex technical concepts. The ideal candidate will champion a culture of knowledge sharing, fostering open information exchange across IT teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in implementing and administering Knowledge-Centered Service (KCS) methodology within an ITSM framework.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify knowledge gaps, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Proven problem-solving capabilities honed through practical IT experience.
