Our company is a dynamic organization seeking a talented NetSuite Developer to join our Enterprise Applications team.
Job Description
As a full-time NetSuite Developer, you will collaborate closely with business partners, technology architects, and system analysts to implement the enterprise applications product roadmap. You'll apply your technical and functional knowledge to analyze system issues, perform bug triage, and find solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with business partners, internal or external, to understand processes, gaps, and goals.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to developing and modifying business processes and systems.
- Partner with business, internal, and external technology teams to define associated system requirements and solutions.
- Participate in systems implementation projects, including requirements documentation, systems configuration, test documentation/execution, issue identification, and resolution.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated workflows, scripts, and integrations within NetSuite and connected systems.
- Proactively identify potential solutions and present them to both business and IT stakeholders.
- Facilitate review sessions with functional owners, subject matter experts, and end-user representatives.
- Work with various teams to investigate finance production support issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Develop project milestones and timelines for development, UAT, production validation, and go-live.
- Participate in scheduled system upgrades, including test plan development, testing, reviewing, and evaluating new functionality.
- Support delivery of reporting, dashboards, and business intelligence capabilities through partnership with IT and Business.
- Lead and perform data management and migration activities.
- Ensure training and timely communications in accordance with project timelines.
- Engage in other areas of Finance, including Security, Compliance (SOX), Reporting, Production, and participate in change management support.
- Bachelor's degree in Information & Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of experience working with NetSuite ERP in a technical or techno-functional role.
- Good functional and configuration level understanding of one or more areas, including ERP System Administration, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Invoicing, Revenue Recognition, Taxation, Customer Billing, etc.
- Experience in Javascript or any other programming language is a must.
- Strong experience with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, SuiteAnalytics.
- Experience with building web services integrations (REST/SOAP).
- Proven ability to learn complex, distributed systems quickly and thoroughly.
- Document complex systems, processes, events, and architectures.
- Must be customer-centric and have interpersonal skills necessary to manage business and technology relationships.
- Must be a self-starter, deal with ambiguity, and thrive in a rapidly changing business environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbally) with both technical and non-technical parties.
