Job Title: Senior NPI Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior New Product Introduction (NPI) Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Probe and Test engineering function, you will play a crucial support role in the transition of new products from development to in-house production.

About the Role:
  • This position is responsible for providing hands-on technical support to Probe and Test NPI Engineering for specific products or groups of products once they have been transferred from the development stage into in-house production.
  • Your primary objective will be to ensure that new products are manufactured efficiently, reliably, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Engineering Support in Low Volume Manufacturing: Conduct verification tests, execute experiments, perform reworks, and carry out quality testing related to both the product and the test processes.
  2. Non-Conforming Lot Disposition and Failure Analysis: Assist in the disposition of lots that do not meet quality standards and support failure analysis activities to identify root causes of issues.
  3. Data Collection and Evaluation: Utilize various data tools to collect and evaluate test data, which is crucial for understanding process performance and identifying areas for improvement.
  4. Process Improvement Assistance: Help develop methods and procedures designed to control or modify the manufacturing process, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
  5. Sustaining Activities and Other Tasks: Perform product and machine sustaining activities, ensuring that equipment and processes are running optimally.
Requirements:
  • Education: A graduate of an Engineering or Technology Course.
