Job Title: Expert Electrical Estimator

About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of electrical lighting controls, reflected ceiling plans, and project takeoffs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately perform takeoffs and cost estimates using Planswift or Bluebeam software.
  • Review and interpret architectural and electrical drawings, including reflected ceiling plans.
  • Identify and quantify lighting fixtures and controls from project documents.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate reports using Microsoft Excel.
  • Collaborate with the project team to verify and refine estimates.
Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with Planswift or Bluebeam is essential.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Background in electrical projects is necessary.
  • Experience in electrical lighting controls and reflected ceiling plans is desirable.
  • Knowledge of lighting fixtures and controls for takeoffs is a must.
  • Strong attention to detail, with excellent spoken and written English, is essential.
  • Prior costing/estimating experience is advantageous.
