Project Director Job Summary

A highly skilled Project Director is needed to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects for a mental health technology platform. This role involves managing project scope, resources, and timelines while driving Agile processes, facilitating team collaboration, and ensuring smooth communication between clients and the development team.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in project management and expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies, leading sprint cycles, retrospectives, and leveraging tools like Jira for metrics-driven project tracking. Strong analytical skills with a focus on key performance indicator (KPI) monitoring, progress reporting, and conducting post-mortems to drive continuous improvement are essential.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Project Planning & Resource Management: Define and refine project scope, plan resource allocation, ensure proper resource availability and utilization, develop project schedules and timelines based on estimates
    • Project Execution & Agile Process Management: Plan and sequence project activities, facilitate Agile ceremonies like kick-offs, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, etc., manage Jira boards (sprints, tickets, reports)
    • Monitoring, Reporting & Metrics: Track project performance with Jira metrics (velocity, burn-up/down, sprint reports), monitor team and individual performance via KPIs and stand-ups, send regular progress reports to stakeholders
    • Leadership & Team Support: Act as mediator between client and team, resolve conflicts, remove blockers and distractions, keep the team motivated, focused, and aligned on goals, hold team members accountable, advocate collaboration and effective communication
    • Continuous Improvement & Documentation: Streamline processes to improve project/sprint velocity, conduct post-mortems for major incidents (bugs, outages, etc.), ensure project documentation is centralized and regularly updated
    • Requirements:
      • At least 3 years of experience in project management
      • Expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies, leading sprint cycles, retrospectives, and leveraging tools like Jira for metrics-driven project tracking
      • Proven leadership abilities in resource planning, team allocation, and mediating conflict to ensure project cohesion
      • Strong analytical skills with a focus on KPI monitoring, progress reporting, and conducting post-mortems to drive continuous improvement
      • Meticulous attention to process optimization and comprehensive documentation
