The CW Marketing & Development Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Certified Public Accountant to join its accounting team.

Job Description

As a key member of the accounting department, the Certified Public Accountant will be responsible for supervising and monitoring the activities of accounting personnel in relation to end-to-end accounting processes and procedures. This includes preparing financial reports and system approvals, as well as facilitating taxation reports and requirements.

The role also involves ensuring that all standard procedures are followed and meet the department's objectives. This includes validating documents prepared by the Accounts Payable Assistant and Accounting Supervisor on trade-related transactions, approving AP Invoices and AP Credit Memos in the accounting system, and implementing and observing accounting processes and procedures.

Additionally, the Certified Public Accountant will prepare quarterly schedules of accounts, analyze monthly and quarterly VAT computation, and prepare tax schedules needed by the Bureau of Internal Revenue for the audit process. The role also involves engaging in internal auditing of the company's transactions, ledgers, and financial reports, and performing other relevant accounting and taxation tasks assigned by the Accounting and Finance team.

Requirements
  • Certified Public Accountant with at least two years of supervisory experience in the field
  • Highly proficient in accounting processes and procedures, including taxation policies and procedures
  • Proficient in using productivity tools and accounting systems
  • Above-average oral and written communication skills
  • Possesses people management skills
