Job Summary

This role plays a key part in implementing and executing all public relations activities. Under the guidance of the Director of Public Relations & Communications, promotes and maintains effective communications to enhance the brand image.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team and be accountable for performance and results within your discipline or function.
  • Exercise management skills to address resources and operational challenges.
  • Maintain confidentiality and make decisions guided by policies and procedures.
  • Maintain an updated master photo library of the property for media purposes.
  • Participate in forecasting department expenses.
  • Prepare press releases for promotions and coordinate with other departments.
  • Create PR briefs for agencies and coordinate with Procurement and Legal departments.
  • Manage vendor contracts and ensure timely processing.
  • Coordinate with business units on property for various projects.
  • Plan and execute media familiarization trips to showcase resort offerings.
  • Collaborate with PR agencies and media partners to maximize brand exposure.
  • Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to maintain compliance and deliver high-quality outputs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum two years of experience in a hospitality Public Relations department or communications-related role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to engage with team members and build strong relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software and social listening tools.
