Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Talent Development Manager to join our team at John Clements Recruitment Inc. in Makati. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a global company and contribute to the development of high-performing teams.

About the Role

The Senior Talent Development Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the overall business objectives. This includes succession planning, talent management, change management, organizational development, and performance management.

You will provide strategic leadership by articulating HR needs and plans to the executive management team, shareholders, and the board of directors. You will also advise the executive management team on the HR implications of its decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs to support business objectives, vision, and values.
  2. Work with senior management to identify HR priorities and opportunities and to develop and execute HR plans that support the organization's objectives.
  3. Provide leadership and support to the HR Department and foster a culture of continuous improvement and development.
  4. Build and maintain a strong relationship with internal and external stakeholders – including employees, management, industry partners, and the community.
Supervisory Responsibilities

This position is directly responsible for leading managers of the department and indirectly responsible for all employees within the department.

Reporting Line

This position reports to the Director of Human Resources.

Requirements
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and align HR strategies with overall changing business objectives.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence others.
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail, with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HR best practices and procedures and thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of and experience with varied human resource information systems is preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience
  • BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university; MBA or MA/MS in human resources or related field preferred.
  • More than 10 years of HR experience in an FMCG company, with at least five years of executive HR experience and at least five years of HR experience in strategic roles in global companies.
