Business Development Specialist

BG-06 is the business unit responsible for revenue generation, new business opportunities, and survey health growth.

The Business Development team's strategies focus on boosting revenue, expanding multi-sector surveys, and partnerships for better profitability.

The Sr. Business Development Executive plays a key role in sustaining and growing market surveys through focused engagement and converting non-paying participants into clients.

As a Community Practitioner, the BDE has a deep understanding of the Community Market product and its potential to serve as a channel for accessing other components of Community.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Identify issues impacting the utility and delivery of Community Market survey data to clients, as well as how clients use data to increase product relevance and refine engagement;
  • Grow participation in Community Market surveys by expanding client engagement into broader geographic partnerships and converting leads into customers within designated scopes;
  • Support market research & analysis efforts by forming strategic alliances, joint ventures, or collaborations that create mutually beneficial opportunities;
  • Establish relationships with qualified leads through effective communication and engagement, utilizing networking events, industry conferences, personalized emails, or social media interactions to build trust and credibility;
  • Secure sales from new partnerships and alliances, and from niche sectors aligned to delivery timelines, production schedules, and priorities of technical teams;
  • Assess the effectiveness of business development efforts and approaches, recommending changes to strengthen overall team engagement capacity.
