Junior DevOps Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior DevOps Engineer to join our organization.

Job Responsibilities
  • Infrastructure Automation: Design, implement, and manage infrastructure using automation tools like Ansible.
  • Application Development: Collaborate with the development team to deploy and maintain web applications using PHP and Python.
  • API Development: Support the design, development, and maintenance of RESTful APIs for seamless integration.
  • System Monitoring and Logging: Assist in setting up and managing monitoring systems like the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
  • Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers, QA teams, and other stakeholders for smooth integration and deployment of software updates.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices, conduct security scans, and vulnerability assessments.

Key aspects of this role include working on various projects simultaneously, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining high-quality documentation.

Requirements
  • Familiarity with programming languages like PHP and Python.
  • Basic understanding of infrastructure automation tools like Ansible.
  • Knowledge of monitoring systems like the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience in their development and consumption.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scripting.
  • Exposure to containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

Candidates should possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
