Job Overview

An Application Developer is responsible for installing, configuring, and managing DevOps automation tools on both cloud and non-cloud infrastructure.

This role requires a deep understanding of project and application context to tailor DevOps tools accordingly. The ideal candidate will be proficient in setting up continuous integration for automated builds, creating build scripts and versioning, packaging and deploying applications on servers, and establishing continuous testing.


Required Skills And Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of relevant technology experience.
  • Fundamental understanding of containers and Kubernetes platform.
  • Hands-on experience in setting up and configuring Kubernetes platform.
  • Experience working with Red Hat OpenShift preferable.
  • Developing deployment scripts for Kubernetes-based microservices.
  • Implementing end-to-end Continuous Integration/Delivery solutions in Kubernetes environment.
  • Authoring build scripts with Jenkins or Travis or Tekton.
  • Problem determination, root cause analysis, and debugging in Kubernetes/OpenShift environment.
  • Good experience working with Git.
  • Automation using scripts (shell/perl/python etc) and tools like ansible/Chef/Puppet.
  • Delivering projects using Agile methods and tools such as Jira.
