Remote Senior Billing and Accounts Receivable Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Billing and Accounts Receivable Specialist to oversee and manage the entire billing and accounts receivable process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in billing and accounts receivable, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Preparing and reviewing invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Monitoring accounts receivable aging reports and managing the collection process to ensure timely receipt of payments.
- Reconciling customer accounts, resolving discrepancies, and addressing any billing issues promptly.
- Developing and implementing effective strategies for improving the billing and collection process.
- Coodinating with internal departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure accurate and timely billing.
- Preparing and analyzing financial reports related to billing and accounts receivable, providing insights and recommendations.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Mentoring junior staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Supporting the finance team with special projects and initiatives as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders.
