Job Opportunity: Disability Claims Team Manager

We are seeking a seasoned leader to manage a disability claims team and drive business growth.

This role requires strategic thinking, effective communication, and strong leadership skills.

The ideal candidate will have experience in disability case management, group insurance, and team leadership.

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to manage disability claims and drive business growth.
  • Lead a high-performing team of disability management professionals to achieve business objectives.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in Nursing or allied medical courses.
  • At least 2 years related experience in disability case management / group insurance with disability focus.
  • At least 5 years leadership experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to speak to trends, stats, report cards on clients' disability experience.
  • Outstanding communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Ability to deal with stressful situations.
  • Ability to deliver difficult news in a tactful and sensitive manner.
