Job Overview

The Consulting Manager plays a vital role in driving the success of our Global Delivery Center (GDC) team members. This individual will work closely with GDC Leadership, Operations, and Resource Management to optimize project staffing, ensuring seamless delivery and maximum revenue.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with GDC Consulting Operations to identify and assign project resources to client engagements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders characterized by partnership, cooperation, and trust.
  • Manage own projects where required.
  • Oversee small concurrent client projects while maintaining oversight to identify risk, escalations, and issue resolution.
  • Manage and resolve escalations between the project, client, or other internal organizations in a satisfactory manner.
  • Oversee resource planning and coordination of project activities between client and internal/external resources needed to accomplish strategic business goals.
  • Mentor staff in Agile methodologies and best practices in project management to enhance project delivery.
  • Provide teams with a clear understanding of responsibilities, accountabilities, and growth plans by communicating and managing work assignments, training, and performance appraisals.
  • Ensure bench time for Consultants is used to improve skills in line with Practice technology roadmaps.
  • Monitor alignment of program scope with strategic business objectives.
  • Solicit feedback from Delivery Owners of engagements where GDC team members are aligned.
  • Conduct interviews of prospective GDC candidates.
