Job Title

Business Development Manager: Leadership and Growth Expert

As a Business Development Manager, you will provide strategic leadership to our Business Development team, driving growth and success. This role requires a strong understanding of business development principles and the ability to coach and lead teams to achieve aggressive growth goals.

  • Lead a team of hybrid BDRs to exceed quarterly and annual new business pipeline generation targets for Enterprise Account Executives.
  • Expand a team of Business Development Reps using our foundational Business Development team plan.
  • Support Business Development Reps through onboarding, ramp up, and ongoing coaching and development to ensure consistent attainment of goals across the team.
  • A solid understanding of our technology stack to support the BDR team with lead follow-up and proactive outreach.
  • Conduct weekly 1:1 review meetings and hold daily team huddles to share best practices.
  • Coach direct reports regarding strategies to increase conversion rates across the board to ultimately create more pipeline.
  • Build strong working relationships with Marketing, Regional Sales Directors, Sales Operations, Recruitment, and HR teams and become a valued member of our Leadership Team.
  • Attend weekly Sales Team meetings to maintain alignment with the Field Sales team.
  • Consistently monitor the team's performance against key KPIs and drive the team forward to exceed expectations.
  • Be vocal in bringing suggestions to facilitate new processes, tools, communications, training, and methodologies to ensure the ongoing evolution of our team.
  • Occasional travel, as well as the ability to represent our company at events.
Requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years' experience running Business Development or Inside Sales teams.
  • 2+ years' experience as a BDR Rep in software industry.
  • 2+ years' experience as an Inside Sales Rep in Software industry advantageous.
