Role Summary:

The AI Data Quality Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data used in artificial intelligence and machine learning models. This involves performing quality audits, statistical reporting, and root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues affecting data quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Quality Audits: Conduct thorough reviews of annotated datasets to ensure they meet established guidelines and quality benchmarks.
  • Statistical Reporting: Utilize statistical metrics such as F1 score and inter-annotator agreement to evaluate data quality.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Identify and understand the root causes of errors and propose remediation strategies.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Automation: Identify opportunities to automate analytics processes and improve efficiency.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain up-to-date documentation on quality standards, annotation guidelines, and quality control procedures.
Collaboration & Communication:
  • Cross-Functional Teamwork: Collaborate with project stakeholders and clients to understand project requirements and improve annotation pipelines.
  • Training: Assist with training annotators, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure data quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience as a data analyst with exposure to data quality and/or data annotation, preferably in an AI/ML context.
  • Familiarity with basic concepts of AI/ML pipelines and data.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
