Operations and E-commerce Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a strategic, detail-oriented virtual operations assistant with a passion for problem-solving and a deep understanding of the e-commerce ecosystem.   • This role involves leading and streamlining operations across customer service, fulfillment, marketing, and product management.
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in Shopify, Etsy, Gorgias, Klaviyo, Recharge, Rebuy, and their ecosystem, as well as knowledge of social media native platform features and analytics.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting technical and strategic issues within e-commerce software, creating flows, campaigns, and segments, and collaborating with creative departments to design emails.
  • A key aspect of this role is data analysis, including collecting and cleaning operational data, generating insightful reports, and evaluating website performance.
Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Operations Management: Identify, troubleshoot, and implement technical solutions to optimize workflows and performance.
  2. E-commerce Expertise: Troubleshoot technical and strategic issues within e-commerce software, create flows, campaigns, and segments, and collaborate with developer teams.
  3. Data Analysis: Collect and clean operational data, generate insightful reports, and evaluate website performance.
  4. CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE: Utilize platforms like Gorgias to deliver outstanding customer service, understand customer grievances, and solve issues with a problem-solving mindset.
  5. Marketing & Growth: Partner with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns, optimize email flows, and create high-performing landing pages.
  6. Project & Fulfillment Management: Oversee end-to-end fulfillment processes, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with quality standards.
  7. Team Development & Collaboration: Foster a culture of excellence, curiosity, and cheerfulness within the team.
