Business Analyst Role Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  1. ">
  2. Analyse current and future business environment and systems landscape.">
  3. Gather and document business and client project requirements, capturing context, current state, desired outcomes, and objectives.">
  4. Develop comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) that are clear, unambiguous, and suitable for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.">
  5. Present detailed requirements to stakeholders to obtain consensus and buy-in.">
  6. Review and evaluate proposed solutions for alignment with business and customer needs, highlighting key risks.">
  7. Collaborate with Product teams to design and implement solutions that align with the company's data-led strategy.">
  8. Assess and manage the impact of requirements on data systems and business processes.">
  9. Support development, systems testing, UAT, and implementation by working closely with solution partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders.">
  10. Validate test case scenarios against BRDs and audit test case results performed by UAT testers.">
  11. Ensure adherence to change control and change management procedures related to business requirements.">
  12. Share best practices and insights with the wider team and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.">
  13. Participate in post-implementation reviews, lessons-learned sessions, and peer knowledge-sharing activities.">

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Analysis, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.">
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on data systems and management.">
  • Proven success in business and quality analysis roles involving complex project delivery.">
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.">
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder influencing abilities at all organisational levels.">
  • Proficiency with business analysis tools and techniques (e.g., user stories, process flowcharting, requirements documentation).">
  • Advanced IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.">
  • Familiarity with project management and change platforms (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Open Project, Azure).">
  • Ability to communicate complex data concepts to diverse audiences.">
